The plots below are updated with the most recently uploaded measurements. Data from the Remote Sensing Ground Station (Platform) are downloaded hourly (after each measurement). The plots below illustrate the type of measurements made on the platform: 1) Downwelling irradiance (Es) is the time-averaged spectral incident light failing on the surface water during the measurement period (100+ samples over a two minute period). 2) The Upwelling radiance (Lu) is the time-averaged spectral reflected light measured just above the water surface. Additional data products presented are 1) the Normalized Water Leaving Radiance (Lwn) -- the ratio of the Lu/Es signals multiplied by the mean extraterrestrial solar irradiance and 2) the maximum Lwn time-series.
